The IELTS Writing section is designed to assess your ability to write in English, including how well you can organize your ideas, present them clearly, and use appropriate language. It consists of two tasks, each of which evaluates different writing skills.
The Writing section lasts for 60 minutes, and you are required to complete both tasks within this time.

In Task 1, you will need to write a descriptive report based on visual information. This could be in the form of a graph, chart, table, diagram, or map. You will need to summarize the information, highlight key trends, and make comparisons where necessary.
Duration: Approximately 20 minutes

In Task 2, you are required to write an essay in response to a question or a statement. The question could be about a range of topics including education, technology, health, environment, society, or culture. You will need to present an argument, support your views with relevant examples, and clearly develop your ideas in a logical manner.
