In this activity, you will practice discussing the topic of predicting economic trends. You will explain your ideas on how the economy might change in the future, the factors that can affect the economy, and how people can prepare for these changes.

“In the next 5 to 10 years, I believe the economy will continue to grow, but there will also be challenges. One major trend I expect is the growth of technology and its impact on jobs. Many jobs may become automated, and new technology will create new industries. People will need to adapt by learning new skills and staying flexible in their careers.

Another trend I predict is the rise of online shopping and digital payments. This could impact traditional businesses, especially retail stores. I think businesses will need to focus more on e-commerce and finding ways to reach customers online. For individuals, it’s important to stay informed about technological advances and be ready to adjust to new job markets.
