Part 1: Giving Advice
“Starting a new job is both thrilling and challenging, so my advice is to focus on a few key things. First, remember that attitude is everything. Be friendly, approachable, and ready to learn. Introduce yourself to your colleagues and show genuine interest in getting to know them. This builds rapport and creates a positive environment. Second, take time to understand your role. Don’t hesitate to ask questions if something is unclear—no one expects you to know everything on day one! Third, prioritize your tasks wisely. Make a to-do list each day to stay organized and ensure you meet deadlines. Lastly, be patient with yourself. Mistakes are part of the process, and what matters is how you learn and grow from them. With these steps, you’ll not only succeed but also enjoy your journey.”
Part 2: Talking About a Personal Experience
“One moment I’ll never forget is when I participated in a city-wide debate competition. I was nervous because the audience was large and the topic was tough. I spent days preparing, reading every article I could find, and practicing my delivery. On the day of the event, I was so anxious that my hands were shaking, but as soon as I started speaking, something clicked. I felt confident and delivered my points clearly. When they announced that I had won first place, I was overwhelmed with pride. That moment taught me that preparation and believing in yourself can overcome any fear. It’s still one of the achievements I hold closest to my heart.”
Part 3: Describe a Scene
“The scene is bursting with energy and excitement. It’s a massive outdoor concert with a sea of people stretching as far as the eye can see. The stage is brightly illuminated with colorful lights that move in sync with the music, and smoke machines are adding a dramatic effect. The lead singer is giving an electrifying performance, and the crowd is completely engaged—some are waving their hands in the air, others are dancing, and a few are capturing the moment on their phones. The music is loud and energizing, with a heavy bass that you can feel in your chest. Around the audience, there are food stalls and merchandise stands, adding to the festive vibe. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of joy, passion, and togetherness.”
Part 4: Make a Prediction After Looking at a Picture
“In the picture, I see a person sitting alone at a small table in a cozy café. he is dressed casually, having a a cup of coffee one the table and reading a newspaper. The café has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting and wooden furniture. After finishing his drink, I imagine he might head to work or perhaps continue reading on a park bench somewhere nearby. he seems relaxed, so it’s possible he’s enjoying a day off. Judging by the focused expression on his face, he might even be planning something important, like a work project or a trip.”
Part 5: Comparing and Persuading
“Choosing between gym workouts and outdoor activities can be tough, but I strongly recommend outdoor activities. Gyms offer a structured environment with equipment and trainers, but they can often feel repetitive and confined. On the other hand, outdoor activities like jogging, hiking, or cycling not only improve your physical health but also boost your mental well-being. The fresh air, natural surroundings, and sunlight are refreshing and uplifting. Plus, outdoor activities are usually free, unlike expensive gym memberships. Personally, I find outdoor workouts more motivating because they combine exercise with exploration. So, I believe they’re the better choice for a healthier, happier lifestyle.”
Part 6: Dealing with a Difficult Situation
“If my car broke down on a busy highway, my first thought would be safety. I would carefully steer the car to the side of the road and turn on my hazard lights to alert other drivers. Then, I’d step out of the car cautiously and set up a reflective warning triangle if I had one. My next step would be to call roadside assistance or a towing service for help. While waiting, I’d stay a safe distance from the traffic, possibly sitting on the grassy area nearby. It would definitely be a stressful situation, but staying calm and following these steps would help me manage it effectively.”
Part 7: Express Opinion
“I firmly believe single-use plastics should be banned. These plastics are one of the biggest contributors to environmental pollution, clogging rivers, harming wildlife, and filling landfills. For example, sea turtles often mistake plastic bags for jellyfish, which can be fatal. Alternatives like reusable bags, metal straws, and biodegradable materials are readily available and much more sustainable. While some people argue that plastics are convenient, the long-term damage they cause far outweighs the short-term benefits. It’s time we take responsibility and make choices that protect the planet for future generations.”
Part 8: Describing an Unusual Situation
“During a family trip to the beach, something unexpected happened. We were enjoying a peaceful evening when a sudden flock of seagulls swooped down and started grabbing our snacks! At first, we were startled, and some of us even ducked to avoid them. But then it turned into a hilarious scene as we tried to shoo them away, laughing at how persistent they were. Eventually, we managed to save most of our food, but it became the highlight of our vacation. It was unusual, a bit chaotic, but it gave us a funny story to share for years.”
